A different kind of Viking for 2010

For 2010 the theme will be The Normans (from the invasion in 1066 to the end of the Plantagenets in 1307). The Normans were 2nd generation Vikings (hence the name, a corruption of Norsemen). As in 2008 the aim is to have authentic re-enactment, and involvement for visitors of all ages.

It is going to be pretty action-packed!
